Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how RC TECH AMERICA INC, together with its affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, and assigns, as applicable, collects, uses, discloses, stores, protects, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with Omegle, omegle.com, and any related websites, livestreaming services, creator tools, interactive features, payment features, virtual items, moderation tools, safety systems, and other services that link to this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and any supplemental notices that we provide at or before the time we collect personal information.

The Service is intended only for adults. You must be at least eighteen years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to access or use the Service. We do not knowingly permit minors to access or use the Service. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Service.

1. Who We Are
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “RC TECH AMERICA INC,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the entity that operates or makes available the Service.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, unless otherwise stated in a supplemental notice, RC TECH AMERICA INC is the controller of personal information processed in connection with the Service. For certain payment, identity verification, age verification, analytics, advertising, security, infrastructure, or fraud-prevention activities, third-party service providers may act as independent controllers or processors depending on the nature of their services and applicable law.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that we process when you access or use the Service, create an account, verify your age or identity, view or publish livestreams, participate in chats or rooms, upload or display content, send or receive virtual gifts, purchase Tokens or Virtual Items, subscribe to Creators, participate in monetization programs, receive payouts, communicate with us, submit reports, appeal enforcement decisions, or otherwise interact with the Service.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, payment providers, identity verification providers, advertising partners, analytics providers, external links, Creator-operated communities, or other third-party services that are not controlled by us, even if they are linked from the Service. Those third parties may process your personal information under their own terms and privacy policies.

3. Eligible Users and Age Verification
The Service is designed for adult users only. We may process personal information to verify or estimate your age, confirm that you are legally eligible to use the Service, prevent minors from accessing the Service, restrict access to adult-oriented content, comply with online safety laws, comply with age assurance requirements, protect users, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.

Depending on your location, account activity, feature usage, risk profile, applicable law, and product configuration, we may collect or process information such as date of birth, age range, government-issued identification information, facial image or video selfie, liveness check information, identity verification result, age verification result, verification status, verification provider reference number, country or region, device information, IP address, account history, safety signals, and other information reasonably necessary to verify that you are an adult.

We may use third-party age verification or identity verification providers, including k-ID or another approved age-assurance provider. These providers may process your information on our behalf or as independent controllers, depending on applicable law and the applicable provider arrangement. Where age assurance is performed by k-ID or another provider, we generally do not receive raw facial scans, ID images, face maps, or biometric templates; we receive verification outcome, age-range or adult status, provider reference number, timestamp, jurisdiction, risk signals, and audit signals. However, in certain cases, identification documents, biometric-related information, images, or verification records may be processed or retained where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, safety, dispute handling, regulatory audit, or other legitimate purposes. Information collected for age-assurance purposes will not be used for targeted advertising, unrelated personalization, or general model training except as expressly disclosed and permitted by applicable law.

4. Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Service, from other users, from service providers, from payment processors, from identity and age verification providers, from safety partners, from rights holders, from public sources, and from other third parties where permitted by law.

The categories of personal information we may collect include the disclosures in the sections below.

5. Account and Profile Information
We may collect information that you provide when you create, maintain, verify, or update your account, including username, display name, password or authentication credentials, email address, phone number, date of birth, age range, country or region, language preference, profile photo, avatar, biography, interests, Creator profile, account settings, notification preferences, content preferences, linked accounts, and other account information.

We may also collect account status information, verification status, account standing, enforcement history, appeal history, account security records, device associations, login history, suspected duplicate accounts, and records relating to account suspension, termination, restriction, or reactivation.

6. User Content, Livestreams, and Interactive Data
Because the Service is a livestreaming and interactive community platform, we process User Content and related metadata. This may include livestream video, audio, images, chat messages, comments, room titles, channel descriptions, tags, reactions, virtual gift interactions, subscriptions, polls, moderation actions, user reports, profile information, uploaded files, thumbnails, stream clips, recordings where enabled, and other content or communications that you submit, display, transmit, or make available through the Service.

Livestreams and interactive content may be viewed by other users according to the functionality of the Service, your settings, and applicable product features. You should not include personal information in your livestreams, profile, chat, or other content unless you are comfortable with that information being visible to others.

We may process livestreams and User Content in real time or after transmission for hosting, delivery, discovery, recommendations, personalization, content moderation, safety enforcement, legal compliance, evidence preservation, dispute resolution, product improvement, and other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

7. AI Moderation, Safety Review, and Monitoring Data
We may deploy automated systems, artificial intelligence tools, machine learning classifiers, hash-matching tools, human review, user reporting, trusted flagger reports, and other safety technologies to detect, prevent, restrict, block, remove, or escalate content and conduct that may violate our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, law, third-party rights, payment rules, or platform integrity standards.

For livestreams, we will use standard stream latency and buffering to support automated detection and interception of certain high-risk content before or during transmission. Our systems may process video frames, audio signals, text, images, metadata, behavioral patterns, device signals, account signals, prior reports, risk indicators, and other information to identify potentially prohibited content, including nudity, explicit sexual content, pornography, violence, suspected CSAM, grooming indicators, non-consensual content, trafficking indicators, harassment, fraud, spam, malware, or other high-risk content.

Where content or conduct is flagged, we may create safety records, moderation logs, risk scores, classification labels, review notes, escalation records, reviewer decisions, enforcement records, appeal records, and audit trails. We may place accounts, rooms, streams, devices, payment methods, or users associated with repeated reports or serious risk signals into enhanced monitoring, high-priority review queues, or other safety workflows.

Automated systems may assist us in prioritizing, detecting, classifying, restricting, or escalating content, but we may also conduct human review where appropriate, legally required, or operationally feasible. We may use safety data to improve moderation systems, train detection models, evaluate reviewer quality, comply with legal obligations, and protect users and the Service.

8. Reports, Complaints, Appeals, and Law Enforcement Requests
If you report content, submit a complaint, appeal an enforcement decision, contact support, or communicate with us, we may collect your contact information, account information, report category, report description, evidence, screenshots, URLs, usernames, channel information, date and time, transaction information, safety urgency, communications with us, and any other information you provide.

We may process reports and appeals to investigate violations, enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines, communicate with users, provide legally required notices or statements of reasons, improve safety systems, respond to regulators, handle disputes, and protect users.

If law enforcement, regulators, courts, child-safety organizations, or other authorized entities contact us, we may process request information, legal process, preservation requests, disclosure logs, response records, and related user information in accordance with applicable law and our internal procedures.

9. Creator Monetization, Payout, and Tax Information
If you apply for or participate in Creator monetization, receive virtual gift-related rewards, receive subscription revenue, receive revenue shares, receive payouts, or otherwise monetize content through the Service, we may collect and process additional information, including legal name, business name, contact information, date of birth, tax identification number, tax residency, address, payment account details, payout method, bank account information, wallet or payment processor account information, invoices, tax forms, payout history, revenue share records, subscription records, gift-related records, chargeback records, fraud reviews, sanctions screening results, identity verification status, and compliance documentation.

We process this information to verify eligibility, process payouts, calculate revenue shares, administer monetization programs, comply with tax and accounting obligations, conduct anti-fraud and sanctions screening, prevent money laundering, resolve payment disputes, enforce Creator Monetization Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

We may share Creator payout and tax information with payment processors, payout providers, banks, tax authorities, accounting service providers, compliance vendors, fraud-prevention vendors, and professional advisers where necessary or legally required.

10. Payment, Virtual Item, and Transaction Information
If you purchase Virtual Items, subscriptions, premium features, paid access, or other digital content, we and our payment processors may collect transaction information, including product purchased, amount, currency, payment method type, billing details, payment processor payment status, transaction identifier, tax information, invoice information, subscription renewal information, refund requests, chargebacks, fraud signals, device and IP information, and customer support communications.

We generally do not store full credit card numbers unless expressly stated or legally permitted. Payment information may be processed by third-party payment processors under their own terms and privacy policies.

We process transaction information to complete purchases, provide digital content, maintain purchase history, process refunds where applicable, prevent fraud, handle chargebacks, enforce purchase rules, comply with tax and accounting obligations, and protect the integrity of Virtual Items, subscriptions, and monetization systems.

11. Device, Usage, Log, and Technical Information
We may automatically collect technical and usage information when you access or use the Service, including IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, device model, language settings, time zone, approximate location inferred from IP address, pages viewed, features used, streams watched, channels visited, search queries, referral URLs, session duration, clickstream data, interactions, error logs, crash logs, performance data, authentication logs, security logs, cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers, and other similar information.

We use this information to provide, secure, debug, improve, personalize, measure, and analyze the Service; detect abuse; prevent fraud; maintain account security; enforce geographic restrictions; comply with law; and understand how users interact with the Service.

12. Cookies, SDKs, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, local storage, software development kits, web beacons, tags, device identifiers, browser storage technologies, server logs, and similar technologies to operate, secure, measure, personalize, improve, and support the Service. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Cookies and Similar Technologies” include both browser-based technologies and technologies embedded in webpages, software modules, third-party services, or other technical components used in connection with the Service.

Cookies and Similar Technologies may be set by us directly, which are commonly referred to as first-party cookies, or by third-party service providers, business partners, analytics providers, advertising partners, fraud-prevention vendors, payment partners, age-verification providers, identity-verification providers, content delivery networks, customer support providers, or other vendors that support the Service, which are commonly referred to as third-party cookies or third-party technologies.

We may use strictly necessary Cookies and Similar Technologies to provide core Service functionality, including account login, authentication, session management, security, fraud prevention, age-gated access, adult-only access controls, payment security, load balancing, consent preference management, legal compliance, and prevention of platform abuse. These technologies are essential to the Service and generally cannot be disabled through our consent tools, although you may be able to block them through your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary technologies, some parts of the Service may not function properly.

We may use functional Cookies and Similar Technologies to remember your settings, language preference, region, display preferences, audio and video preferences, mature-content settings, notification preferences, consent choices, and other customization choices. These technologies help us provide a more consistent and personalized user experience.

We may use analytics and performance Cookies and Similar Technologies to understand how users access and use the Service, measure traffic, identify popular features, assess livestream performance, detect errors, improve product design, test new features, understand conversion funnels, evaluate content discovery, and improve the stability, security, and performance of the Service.

We may use safety, integrity, and fraud-prevention Cookies and Similar Technologies to detect suspicious logins, account takeovers, fake accounts, spam, bots, scraping, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, sanctions evasion, age-verification evasion, moderation evasion, high-risk user behavior, repeated policy violations, and other activity that may threaten users, Creators, payment systems, or platform integrity.

We may use advertising, measurement, and marketing Cookies and Similar Technologies to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, understand how users arrive at the Service, support attribution, limit repeated advertising, evaluate campaign performance, and, where permitted by law and subject to your choices, personalize advertising or promotional content. We do not knowingly use advertising Cookies and Similar Technologies for minors because the Service is not available to minors.

Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before using non-essential Cookies and Similar Technologies, such as certain analytics, advertising, marketing, or personalization technologies. You may manage your cookie preferences through our cookie banner, consent management platform, account settings, browser settings, device settings, or other tools that we make available. You may withdraw or modify your consent at any time where consent is the applicable legal basis.

Your browser or device may allow you to block, delete, or disable cookies and similar identifiers. Please note that if you block or delete cookies, some features of the Service may be unavailable, unstable, or less personalized. Your settings may need to be configured separately for each browser, device, or account that you use.

Some jurisdictions recognize opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control or similar browser-based signals. Where legally required and technically feasible, we will honor valid opt-out preference signals as requests to opt out of applicable sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar processing under applicable privacy laws. Because legal requirements and technical standards may vary by jurisdiction, our response to such signals may depend on your location, browser settings, authentication status, and the nature of the processing.

The Service may also integrate third-party SDKs or similar technical components to support functions such as analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, payment processing, payout processing, age verification, identity verification, content moderation, fraud prevention, advertising measurement, customer support, cloud hosting, content delivery, communication tools, and legal compliance. The categories, purposes, and names of third-party SDKs or similar technologies used in connection with the Service are described in our SDK List, which is available at SDK List and may be updated from time to time.

Additional information about our use of Cookies and Similar Technologies, including cookie categories, purposes, retention periods, and preference-management options, is provided in our Cookie Policy, available at Cookie Policy.

We do not use age-assurance facial inputs to identify or recognize you across the Service, and we do not create a biometric profile for general identification, advertising, or unrelated personalization.

In some cases, automated systems may result in content being blocked, restricted, labeled, reduced in distribution, or escalated for review. Account-level or monetization-level enforcement decisions may involve automated signals and human review. Where applicable law grants you rights regarding certain automated decisions, you may exercise those rights by contacting us or using available appeal tools.

31. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, technology, law, safety practices, moderation systems, age verification methods, payment features, Creator monetization programs, or business operations. When we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service, by email, or by other appropriate means where required by law. Continued use after an update indicates acknowledgment of the revised policy.

Questions, requests, complaints, or concerns about this Privacy Policy or data processing can be sent to privacy@omegle.com.

Privacy Contact: privacy@omegle.com. If we are required to appoint a Data Protection Officer, EU representative, or UK representative under applicable frameworks, we will make the relevant contact details available through updated notices on this page.
